Karl Fischer titration is one of the most widely used techniques for accurate moisture determination, yet even experienced analysts encounter frustrating issues such as drift, poor repeatability, or disappearing endpoints.
If you routinely perform Karl Fischer moisture analysis in your laboratory, this focused one-hour webcast will help you identify, troubleshoot, and resolve the most common analytical problems that affect data quality.
Designed for analytical chemists, QC analysts, and laboratory scientists, this webcast provides practical guidance you can apply immediately to improve the accuracy, precision, and reliability of your Karl Fischer titrations.
Topics include:
- Overview of the Karl Fischer reaction
- Volumetric and coulometric methods
- Drift
- Sample handling and optimal weight
- Sample solvent and capacity
- Calibration
- Common issues
- Poor accuracy
- Poor replicates
- Disappearing endpoint
- Over / under-titrating
