Identification, Mapping, and Relative Quantitation of SARS-CoV-2 Spike Glycopeptides by Mass-Retention

Course Details Webcast

1h 0m

The technical issues surrounding the characterization of SARS–CoV–2 spike (S) protein glycosylation and its importance for quality control of expressed spike protein will be discussed. A novel approach based on reversed phase LC–MS/MS with a Q–TOF will be described capable of identifying hundreds of glycopeptides which were used to populate a mass–retention time database. Participants will learn how this database can be incorporated into a simple, powerful, rapid, and robust characterization workflow.

Topics include:

  • Challenges of SARS–CoV2 spike protein glycan analysis
  • Novel glycopeptide discovery workflow
  • SARS–CoV2 spike glycopeptide database
  • SARS–CoV2 spike Mass–Retention Time Fingerprinting (MRTF) workflow
