LC-MS Data Interpretation - Level 2

Live Online

Instructor-led Training

In this training course, we look at the main fragmentation methods encountered in LC-MS and how we use fragment information in structural determination

This course covers advanced interpretation of LC-MS data. We explore multiple fragmentation mechanisms associated with collision-induced dissociation and the use of fragmentation in the structural elucidation of unknown (related) compounds, such as impurities and metabolic products.

The material is intensively workshop driven, building your experience of working with different types of fragmentation processes, applying these to compounds of known structure, then using these to interpret spectra of unknown related substances.

This training is designed for delegates wishing to use LC-MS in the support of structural elucidation or those wishing to improve their confidence in working with data generated through product ion scanning. Those attending this course should be experienced in LC-MS methodology and data acquisition.
